Wow...that Thrunite is a beast...and 200 bucks..No wonder it is such a Thrower.
I still am liking the EC50 Gen III @ 3850 LM !! Very, Very close to an EDC....but....a Volcano of Light out the business end !! And UBS port charging...that is very welcome !

I've got WL lenscap for Arctic using this principle when I made a deal with them (I got full Spyder collection with significant discount). However the laser is too strong for continuous use as flashlight. But it is definitely interesting to experiment with it. In projectors what I've seen for large powers they have a rotating disc to allow the surface to cool down after laser hit. Still more interesting are RGB projectors emitting coherent light directly.

Anyway here you can see the projector scheme using phosphorus disc:

Oh yeah the TN42 is a beast!! CPFselfbuilt did a review on that a while back and it has one of the highest (CD) rating of any single emitter light still I believe, I love my TN40 but I’m so afraid that one day the Battery will crap out and Thrunite quit selling that Battery pack for some strange reason!

I really like acebeam, they’re making some bad a$$ lights lately, I’m trying to decide if I want the K65 or the K30. I couldn’t imagine the X80 though, 25K lumens of flood right in your face

A good friend of mine has the older version with 2000 lumens and it feels so solid, his has the XHP35 HI which throws further than the new one with the XHP70.2 but with 1850 more lumens I’d rather have the Gen III
