I found that 395mA's will give you over 225mW's with an AixiZ acrylic lens.
I found that the long canned red diodes from a couple of 4X drives were the same power. (GBW-H10N)

I have one diode from a 4x sled at 420mA and it's giving me 249mW after Aixiz glass.jayrob said:I graphed the long canned red diode from my first 6X drive (GGW-H20L)

I made two identical lasers, one with the closed can from a 4x sled and another with the long open can from an LG 22x. I found that using a 7135 driver at 3.6v in. the 4x CC red gave 230mW with an axiz glass, and the 22x just over 200mW same lens. I remove the can from the 4x sled diodes now as well, but havent tested the difference.
so what is a good current for these lcc diodes that will let them have a long life? how much lower than a lpc815 (mines at 400ish ma)?
thanks
... Does the LCC have a, 'controlled', atmosphere inside the can? I read a post a while back saying that BRs had this?
