565nm From LaserLandAustralia

Has anyone tried asking the supplier what on earth it is they're doing to make these? I just did. I've also asked if they have plans for other wavelengths in the future - Specifically if they can do anything in the 605nm range. Can't hurt to ask.

:bday::bday::bday::bday:OMG GUYS ITS SHIFTING 595-575nm I got it on video:

How would you explain that?

Is it possible to lock it in higher WL? I’m predicting an awesome year for our hobby. :bday::wave:

Your video isn't working.

I couldn't see enough to make any conclusion from the video. Are you saying it creeps up in wavelength or hops there? Couldn't make out anything from the video.

Looks like it hops from something yellow-orange to yellow to yellow-green

That though makes me very hopeful for orange DPSS

It hops very briefly to a very clear yellow/orange.

It looked like it started at yellow and hopped to green. If the OptLaer Tech people are working on a 100 mW version of the 575nm, I am definitely interested. :thanks:

That's what I saw, a quick start at yellow, then to green but only on the top half.
A 100mW version would definitely get my attention too. :yh:

Just tested IR through my EP 600-1064nm. It doesn’t let it through. My guesses 980nm.

I figured out how to make 590+nm with this. You just need different angle.

Hmmm.

SO technically would this work for the new module? https://www.survivallaser.com/DIY_400mA_-_11A_Driver___Pill_Module/p556088_15513719.aspx
Or is that driver only for diodes and won't work on the DPSS?
I am not very experienced when it comes to these things.

You will need linear driver (+) is case. While (-) goes through driver.

https://www.survivallaser.com/Blitz_Linear_Driver/p556088_14164630.aspx I think this is needed. I’m not sure.

P.S diachi, I don’t know which axis, but I’m sure we can align it to lase at higher WL.

BTW Paul, how will you measure pump WL, I don’t see the way to get into unless you destroy your module.

So you're thinking that this is all that is needed to drive the module?

What are you powering it with, 18650?
Sorry so many questions.
