565nm From LaserLandAustralia

Don’t say thanks. Let me the first who ripped this thing off. It took me 30 mins to get in lol.

It's hard to tell but does that look like one of the 532nm holders glued in ?. eBay is flooded with 532nm crystals and holder ATM.

Maybe they are faulty ones and lasing at a lower frequency.

Say WHAT? :p

I don’t know, maybe it just seemed higher WL, I’ll try to repeat it. Wait, I think it seemed, sorry XD

P.S crystal is glowing green while pumping.

Tried to pump it with 808nm and 980nm and nothing at all. My guesses it’s 1150.

Edit: for those who want to play with it, don’t exceed 1400mA, after that it’s pretty bad. (Rollback)

It looks similar.

There are many suppliers of these on eBay ATM.

532nm KTP+YVO4

China and Hong Kong sellers.

Can you measure the pump diode wavelength ?

C-Mount seems expensive for anything other than 808. But as you said it doesn't lase with 808. We need someone who can measure the wavelength.

There are many C-Mount diodes on eBay. But 1064 seems the highest I can find. There are a lot between 808 and 980 though.

If it is 1150nm then it's direct doubling. Maybe ND:SFAP

Glowing green seems to point to KTP that's being pushed sideways with 1150nm.

Edit: I saw 1208nm LD for 500$ maybe we can see 604nm in the near future?

btw Robert, Is that 565nm or 575nm module you dismantled?

It’s 575nm, Tero :)

Damn, this makes 577nm prices unreasonable, rip. Because I think it can shift up in WL and be 577nm.

Are you going to take that lens off? If so, can you take a close up photo of the crystal?

Great, looking forward to seeing it. For as cheap as these are, I'm wondering what crystal they are using, where could they get a source of ND:SFAP crystals so cheap which are not in mass production yet?

Nd:SFAP does not have any frequently double nor a SFG of two lines that come close to 575. Not sure about 3 or 4 line sfg, but a coating would be unreasonable, or just a stroke of amazing luck.

And LSRFAQ and a few other members explained it can't be direct doubled. It's probably just a process we don't know about yet.

Those earlier pix of that crystal mount sure look off axis to me, looking forward to seeing those new pix.
