50mW 5-in-1 Green Beam Laser Pointer Pen from budgetgadgets.com
I am doing the review of the 50mW 5-in-1 Green Beam Laser Pointer Pen from budgetgadgets.com. The specs are :
Wave Length: 532nm
5 patterns heads included
Battery: 2 AAA /LR03 1.5V batteries (Included)
Package Including:
1*Green Laser Pointer Pen
4*Laser Pointer Heads
2*Disposable AAA 1.5V batteries
Shipping/Packaging
I bought the laser on 7/7/2012 and it arrives at 17/7/2012. That is pretty quick considering there are two weekends in between. The package was a white envelope and inside was the black laser box wrapped in several layers of foam. The laser box was undamaged at arrival. I can't say that from other vendors.
Appearance and Feel
The laser is a standard green laserpen with two AAA batteries. The batteries are included. I recommend rechargeable batteries. That is good for the environment.
The 5 kaleidoscope heads are more sturdy than I have seen before and they fit perfectly on the laser. They also don't rattle which is a common problem.
However turning the head take some force. I think it will wear out in time and a small drop of oil will help turning more easily.
Performance
The warning sticker shows the output is <50mW. Let's see what the real output is. My LPM is showing 47mW. That is pretty accurate.
Conclusion
The dot is very clean and round. The output of 50mW is accurate.
Everything is working as it should be. A minor con is the stiff head but that can be solved.
Thanks for watching !!! :wave::beer:
