I'd rep you if I could. I love adjustable builds. Is it stable at 5A or does it drop power quickly like my pushed NDB7675?

hak, the N465 cannot be pushed hard for higher wavelength like the NUBM07 or the NDB7675. AFAIK those are the only diodes that have a huge shift and survive the current.

What about a TEC cooled N465? I have most of the bits for a TEC-cooled build (in a barcode scanner gun host) and I wanted to try the N465.

I'd go for the NDB7675, it's a pity DTR stopped selling it but it's still available on ebay.
Note that TEC cooling might reduce the red shift a bit, as some of it seems to be temperature related.
