I would also note that Jay's is mounted very cleanly with a machined spacer/retainer instead of using glue. The glue just worries me with running 1-2W through the lens.;) The lenses in my builds tend to get a little warm.

I've used both and never had problems with either. Both products have their pros and cons, and neither lack quality. Both dealers get an A+ from me. ;)
In any case, Larry no longer stocks the lenses.

Thanks for the comments, RA.

I'm not supplying the Hi-Power lenses any more.

I am spending all of my spare time building 6 watt UV rechargable lights now.

They are not lasers.

I am still supplying #18650 "Low Internal Resistance" batteries & chargers.

What do you do with those UV lights?

On the actual topic Im going to just stick with the lens I have now. Burning it nifty but a nice beam is so dang beautiful and even with this lense the laser burns through or smokes anything I put in front of it anyways. Thanks all

Most of my customers use them for finding biological spills on carpets.

Usually caused by pets dear to the family.

I even built a Triple Blu-Ray unfocused laser for comparison.
