sorry ppl for getting you into this mess, here's what we should do:
since march this year, ebay has implemented the "EBAY BUYER PROTECTIONS PROBLEM" and you can open a case against anyone who you would like to dispute against (including if the item you receive does not match description)... the case will go through a level of reasoning ie: (shipping tracking number, the conversation exchanged between buyer and seller, seller's recent reputation. etc.) basically anything that can provide logical reasoning that you may have been cheated on. the best thing is that ebay usually rule in the favor of the buyer (that is, if the seller fail to respond). ebay can refund you and even pay for the return shipping label no matter what.
i have had 2 cases opened through the dispute center and both cases i got FULL REFUND... one time, i brought a cell phone that doesn't work, after the seller failed to respond to my opened case, i escalated the case to an ebay rep and she provided me a shipping label via UPS w/ tracking. after i shipped it back, i called ebay (believe it or not, they provided an actual phone # and a unique pin so i get to speak with a human and not going through the machines) and the rep tracked the package for me. once it shows delivered, she refunded me directly off of the seller's PP without further doo...
the other time i brought a $100 giftcard and after receiving it, i found out the card only had $50 in it... the seller in this case has fled (with a 100% feedback wtf) so i did the same thing, opened the case, (no response) then escalated to the rep. he provided me a shipping label and i printed it out and shipped it back... i tracked it 2 days later when the status became "delivered" and called ebay.. the rep saw it and refunded me from PP. he told me the seller has $0 pp balance and withdrew all the money to the bank. but he refunded anyway and said pp with go after him for the money lol
anyhow, this is not a hard case to deal with because motel268 didnt provide tracking # even if he marked it shipped... in addition, the message he sent and his fvcked up listings and the recent complaints are all evidences against him. neg feedbacks might not phase him (i hate these type of powersellers who **** their customers just cuz they have "QUANTITY") but opened case with be posted to the account forever plus, that's the only way to get our $ back unless he refund himself... but i say fvck him and on top of the neg feedack let's all open a case on him and let ebay deal with his ass!
