Niceee ! Is it not a tad heavy on the green though ? or do you have the red and blue turned down, or is it just your camera ?
 
1000mw green
1600mw red
500mw blue

so yes the green does need turning down, but you can never have enough green.

1watt green just enables you to be able to do other stuff as well as full colour shows

Yeah , so if you want to do a full colour show you can just turn down the green. if you want to do a 1W green show, you just turn the green up :)

It'll be a nice scanner when it's finished, shame you wont get to keep it :(
 
I have said it before and I will say it again for good measure, that plate is way too thin! Especially for a laser system the size of yours...
 
The whole reason we were saying that to you over on the other forum was to tell you that it really needed to be thicker. Now, that club you install it in will begin to have problems down the road with it coming out of alignment. That is not a good thing, doing things the right way in the beginning is the proper way to go...
 
its not going into a club, my client wants this as an experimental unit with a fully adjustable beam table. so if it does come slightly out of alignment it wont be a big issue.

i took advice and added extra support underneath, again people didnt agree with this but there you go....
