EDITED SECTION (edited again): ok hakzaw was nice and metered my laser :D "over 400 mW peak with a fresh charged (4.18v) average around 370." ok so turns out he charged the batteries and the laser is up to 475mw peak for a few seconds and stabalizes over 400mw :O lowered price is $400 shipped or best offer. i know it's not much less than the site, but at least you know you getting something a lot overspec'd :p pics and power reading on 2nd page 4th post.

this is for a 300-350mw green laser after the IR filter. i bought it from laserpointpen.net. the site sold it as a 300mw green, but claimed all their products are overspec. it meets FDA safety guidelines, so it has key switch, pin, aperture, and everything else. the mode of this beam is ~TEM30. it doesn't affect the brightness nor the look of the beam. this laser uses a single 18650 lithium ion battery. it barely has any use on it. it's in mint working order as far as i know and i've never dropped it and always carried it in its durable aluminum case. no battery will be sold with it because i don't know battery laws.

if by some super rare chance something does go wrong, let me know. if for example a part just randomly suddenly falls off out of no where and there are no signs that you dropped it, then i will give a refund for the item back. but if the diode dies because you don't obey the duty cycle (100 sec on/10sec off) or you put 2 cr123A batteries in or something that is your own fault... ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS will be given and no sympathy at all.

Is the 300-350mW according to the website or have you metered this laser yourself?

If it helps, I've dealt with Denton in the past and it's always been a positive experience.

i haven't metered it personally, that's why at the end of the post i was wondering if there was a middle man who would meter it. or if the person that buys it has a LPM and takes a picture/video of the laser and shows it's underspec then i'd refund them a partial of the cost.

thanks for the vote of confidence :p

oh and i will get to taking a picture of a night shot with normal exposure. just an automatic shot with no fog. i think long exposures and fog shots are misleading of a lasers brightness.

although, the third picture is a picture of the dot at 9am on a sunny morning. a bit of the beam is noticeable so you can get an idea how bright it is. XD i can see if i can upload a video of it in the night sky on face book. that'd give you a more accurate idea.

can you post photos that shows the entire info on the label next to the tailcap? or just post what all is printed there.

It looks exactly like a JETLASERS 250 PL-C- retail is 500$ plus shipping(~$25) so that is a pretty good deal and a very nice laser- I have two of them.

Is the LED blue and somewhat too damn bright?? I assume it is focusable and has a shutter-correct?

does the Al case come with it-charger too? Its a good idea to NOT include a battery. good luck-

also I think it can stand a longer duty cycle but its always good to be nice to yer lazors---

yeah it has a blue LED. if you look at the LED from the side, it's not so bad, but straight on it's really bright. and yeah it's focusable and has a shutter too. the aluminum case is included of course. LOL. i don't have any extra chargers though.

i will post the picture of all the labels on the laser along with the night time shots later tonight.

definetly a sweet deal with that nice case.

the blue LED is so bright that I turn mine so it shines at my feet-handy when walking about at night!! Some place a piece of black tape over it-- shines thru anyway but not so brightly--lol

what is printed on that label??

btw chargers can be had for $10.

that's the image of the beam with the camera slightly angled, but mostly in light with the laser. not the best of shots i know, but it's hard to hold the laser steady with one hand and the camera with the other XD

even better deal as its a 300mW- this same one from JETL is prolly Overspec to 375-400mWs and retails more than 500$. Very well built- I am quite sure it will take a run time of 3 to 5 min. but why chance it?- I never run mine for more than 1-2 min. with 30 sec rest.

this will sell soon.---GL

Am I the only one who thinks this isn't such a good deal? First off, you can get the thing new from the same company for $450 or $500, which is hardly much more money considering used vs. new: 40M 250-350mW Green Laser DAZZLER - Laser Pointer Pen and 300mW-350mW Pioneer series Green Laser Pointer - Laser Pointer Pen . Secondly, if you bought it new, it would come with the cheap safety goggles, which are something you should definitely have with this. Additionally, I don't know if it has a 5sec delay or not from when you turn it on, but I'm pretty sure that's an FDA guideline. Thirdly, this laser doesn't sound like it's in good shape - perhaps people overlooked, but he said it goes into TEM30 - which is NOT a good sign. It hasn't been tested either as to it's power, we don't know if he verified there's an IR filter, and lastly, the website's post about the item sounds horrifically horrible:

OFF 35% 250-350mw Green Laser lazzler-Focus Adjustable with 40 meters' temporarily BLINDING distance. Such laser dazzlers are designed to temporarily blind people, while the laser is shined on them, and then for a bit longer when the person suffers from the "after image" similar to what happens when a photo flash goes off. The laser, though, could cause permanent eye damage if they are misused.

Temporarily blind??? That sounds f*cking terrible (please excuse my language).

I'm sorry if I'm coming off a bit harsh - I do want you to sell your laser, but I also want to give the uninformed some advice, and if you or anybody else feels I'm saying false information, please tell me.

i've said whoever can be a middle man to test the power if they want. or whoever can get someone to do it. also, from what i gather mode hopping doesn't damage the laser. the dot just isn't perfectly round. unless you're gonna use it for long distance burning, it doesn't really matter. i don't think any green is gonna be perfect tem00 unless you pay much much more money. it came in mode 30 and has never showed signs of being any less of a green laser as far as beam and sky pointing goes.

and yeah, its' a little over 100$ less than a brand new one. i mean if someone wants to buy it off their site, the site is listed in the original post. it's no secret. i'm just offering a cheaper alternative so i can get some money. and well that's why i put "best offer" what ever people think is fair.

yeah you are the only one.....^^^
pretty sure it IR filtered-- all the JETL ones are.

I would be happy to play middle man. and meter it for free.

its more than 500$ at JETL
the glasses are not that big of a deal- JET has them now for 23$ in GB.

and a 'dazzler' IS a horrible/terrible thing by its nature and intended use. --used in warfare and police use them---all dazzlers cause temp blinding-- they are not cat toys. not false info-- just a little uninformed. IMHO

hope this helps
