Like that Niko? :p

why thank you. I am not sure that's a version 3 however.

@cyberid12
that's too bad. I have heard the same thing from others, but hey the laser still looks pretty cool, I hope you get it!!!! I mean come on, rails on the laser? You could put a scope on it XD

you realize that recently wicked has been getting 100% better reviews, right?

wicked only did what they did to boost their sales. if you still have a working laser in 6 months to a year i MAY begin to consider them as changed... until then they are feeding you what you want to hear... and your falling for it.

I only know two people who have a WL, and both have spyder IIs. They are very happy with them, and they've used them on their rifles for well over a year. But who knows, maybe they're just lucky. But no one besides WL makes high quality, stylish, AND waterproof green lasers that I know of. They're like the surefire of lasers, wayyy overpriced but well known and stylish. Not that I ever buy surefire, but I wouldnt mind having one ;)

So are you saying that the high price is worth it if you have the money? If so, I disagree. I would MUCH rather have a Hercules-450 than a Spyder III, and the Hercules even happens to be much cheaper. I would say Wickedlasers are more like Mac's: Overpriced computers that are no better than PC's at all, but still sells good because of fanboys and advertising.

Although I agree with your analogy, I do not agree with the reasons. WLs and macs are overpriced, but they are attractive, sleek and small. Hercules and PCs are cheap, effective, but bulky and ugly. So it really depends what you want it for. Plus, the 400mW spyder peaks at over 700mW and stays up there for a while! As a PC and mac owner, I have to say that most of the time PC is the best, but if you want something portable and attractive go with a mac, and if you want something powerful and reliable go with a PC. I have to make the same conjecture for these lasers. So TL&DR research before you buy.

why not just get a laptop...? ;)

theres many companies that make them and only 1 company that makes macs...

But macs are by far the lightest and most usable... when I first saw a mac laptop as a kid I was WOWed by the size compared to these hulking PC laptops, and I am still wowed today. Sure, for a lower price you could get the same power but NO WAY in the same size package. Plus there are benefits to spending more, like custom li-ion batteries for the macbook so it can be smaller.

Why has this been turned into a Mac Vs. PC endless discussion?

Take it to another thread or to PMs, please.

Industrial design shouldn't be overlooked.

BTW, I have a 35mW Evo that I got three years ago that's still working fine.
