Aaaaw- Your such a Tease!
Which I don't really like. Either sell them, post schematics or at least IC info so other people can make their own, or be quiet about them. :tsk:
If you don't care, why'd you bother replying to me?
And go ahead and 'report' me.. whatever that means. Also lose the attitude and read what I posted. There's no need for Dr Lava's schematics. If I want one of his drivers, I'll buy one. He's not doing the equivalent of going 'nyah nyah nyah look what I have, it's bad ass but nobody else can have one, but i'll keep talking about it and telling how great it is anyway' like you are.
So it goes back to what I originally said. Either sell them, help other people make their own, or be quiet about them if you have no intentions of doing either of the other two.
This is DIY forum after all, and the whole 'You can't have one but i'll keep bragging anyway' attitude contributes absolutely nothing here.
Is this driver for sale?
^ NO, Sorry.
It is an Efficient diode but not the best one Ive got or have. Ive got one right now that does 2.2W at 1.8A with a G1. I also Had another one that did 2.3W and the phone rang and i reached over to grab it and i seen that the lanyard on the host was Caught on something that as on my lap and down it went. Killed the diode. Only if you new how upset i was and still am. It was the best diode i have ever gotten ever.
My diodes are usually hand Picked.
Iam glad you like the build. Its a very Nice laser now. "Beat that Wicked"
A little on the Driver.
Name Of My Driver is: X-Drive V6
Its a Buck.
Pot adjustable and can be set for different ranges. Right now its at 100mA - 2A "2000mA"
Can go up to 2.3A MAX
Anything under 1.8A does not need heatsink. At 1.81A and up it should be heatsink by placing a small Piece of aluminum over the IC.
Efficiency- only drops ~ 30mA at 1.8A over a 5 minute ON time.
:thanks:
As nice as it is to have +2W / 2.3W coming from a FREAK diode like this, i'd err on the side of caution and dumb it down a bit. IT will one of these days just go pop on you.
Keep a measurement over time to see if there is any drop in the output, log the time etc etc... This might help others in seeing how far they can push their 445nm builds.
I must say I really like your build. I'd too like to know what you are using as a driver circuit!
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
@lazeerer
Nice work my friend.. Personalizing all your parts takes time and pays off
in the long run.. You are getting good at this
Remember, there is an ignore list for those who cant take 'no' for an answer :shhh:
Keep up the good work
