2014 NASCAR Season

Man I can't wait there is so much going down during speed week. The qualifying thing sucks, but I'm sure I'll get use to it... as far as JJ not a fan never have been sure he can drive just as good as Chad is at NOT getting caught cheating.

Can we just close this thread now????? Im juat hoping for wreckcar not nascar ;)

Sill wrapping my head around the qualifying change. At first it sounded like a good idea, but the more I think about it the more potential problems I can see. I wouldn't put it past some teams to send their slowest car out just get in the way of front runners and block/spoil their laps. Also just use one team member to push another. Could give quite an advantage to teams with 3/4 cars.

I can only imagine what will happen with that many cars trying to qualify at once at a track like Talladega. O_________________O

The wrecks are the only thing exciting about NASCAR IMHO. If I want to watch racing, it either needs to be a 1/4 mile or a winding course.

The only races WORTH watching are the two road races each year. Left turn, left turn, left turn, left turn, left turn, left turn, left turn, left turn, left turn, left turn, left turn, left turn, left turn, left turn, left turn, left turn, left turn, left turn, left turn, left turn, left turn; you get the idea, its boring unless there is a wreck. Does it take skill, sure. Does it take endurance, sure. Does it take a man, nope, takes a cry baby rich kid like Lagano or whatever his name is. Him and Stewart can get their panties in a bunch again this year and then have a crying match. I say first person to turn RIGHT, into the other wins, simple :)

EDIT: Want to watch real racing then tune into so Supercross or Motocross. Takes a man to huck a 250 lbs dirtbike 100 feet through the air with a rider on either side of you. No roll cage, no nothing. Just you, the bike, 39 other riders who want to win, 100 foot jumps, rutted track, and the dirt. Roll bars are for wimps! Nascar should go rollbar-less and then youd get more of an audience. Right now its just a bunch of rednecks who "watch" it but in reality its just an excuse to tailgate or drink for 4 hours.

or you could take it a couple steps further and ride a superbike :) the TT on the Isle of Mann is the most intense racing on earth. nothing relaxes me more then a 150mph ride to shake off the stress :) my 150cc SSR pitbike is fun for the pits at the track but really want a full size dirt bike

I don't dare throw a leg over a streetbike or harley. I feel 100% safe and comfortable flying 80 feet through the air, blitzing a whoop section 3rd tapped, or fighting 39 other riders to the first turn BUT I don't trust other people on the open road. Hence why I drive a big a$$ truck. One, maybe they will see it coming and two if you hit me ill just walk away if not drive over your car. If people could drive then I'd drive a supermoto KTM.

Also ilse of man, those people have a death wish. Not a single one of th could pass a sanity test, bunch of nutballs

Call me a nutball. Isle of Man is where I need to be. 180 on 95 in noon traffic. ( yeah I'm that guy) is where life makes the most sense. 2007 GSXR 750 . Nothing like blowing by a cop and they don't even turn the radar gun. And if you have a race bike and don't ride like this, your a pansy , sell it and go get a cruiser. How do you have 150hp at 312lbs and do under 130mph? As a matter of fact Isle of Man riders don't have to worry about traffic! MORE PANSY'S !! Need to get a helmet cam and show you guys what crazy is.

YES x10. We need to take a spin sometime :) we ride alike. A friend just tore his 08 GSXR750 apart and wants to put motor in gocart. I want to add a BMW s1000rr (or MP4) to my fleet soon :D my YouTube channel has a small window of my crazy world.

Boring until 1:42

Goosebumps the whole video

Paralyzed? No cares are given, strap me to a bike and I'll ride! Find a Nascar guy with this much heart, doesnt exist!

I 100% agree with those last two videos and although I'm not paralyzed, I do have lymphedema after my surgery. The doctors haven't told me straight out that I can't ride again but they strongly suggest against it. My arm is one of the most important parts of riding and it takes a beating, thus causing the lymphedema to possibly be worst. I don't care, I will never stop riding, I will do whatever it takes to ride again; compression arm sleeve, physical therapy, whatever it takes. Motocross is a part of my life, it is my stress relief, it is what I love. Don't let anyone tell you you can't do something. Put your heart to it and prove them wrong.

Saw a r1 cart and was drooling the entire time.

Jeans with scrapped knees, tucking in your elbows to avoid slamming side view mirrors, now that gets the ticker going.

I remember 160 on the highway bursting through a 3ft gap on a left lean between a 18wheeler and a pickup . It's like being born in triple digits, coming out screaming lol.

I'm game for a ride. That's when things get really crazy. When two crazy bastards are trying to one up each other .

Nothing like redlining third (160mph) at the crest of a hill, and having time to think about the hospital bill, to make you realize you've had too much to drink :p

Oh was this a Nascar thread? Did two wheels take over? Hmmmmm  Maybe we should get a new race with Nascar vs superbikes.........oval or road track, I'd watch that any day!

Livinloud, can you please stop thread-jacking!?

Everyone knows that the only interesting race is the racing to TAKESHI´S CASTLE
