Jtidler, if your looking to build a green laser you want a module, not a diode.
If not, don't modify an existing laser. Just buy one.

Modification to a cheap module will result in the module burning out. Read around, if you want to get spoonfed on here you'll never learn and people won't like you and you'll have a rough time.

True, but at least some will do a little reading. This kid was just straight full of sh*t. Occasionally we get one who wants to learn, and thats what makes it worth sifting through the garbage.
