I am going to buy 200mW 532nm Green Laser Module (3V 11.9mm) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme

What else am I going to need? I want it to be made for burning, I already got googles grom my 150mW the a dropped in the pool! (Yay...) But I thought I would make one. I know alot about wires and crap, but not about lasers.


Please tell me everything I need, And links or suggestions. It is for burning and fun! I would like screens,etc. that are good for burning and also somthing to narrow down the beam as on youtube its too thick

I am not asking to be step by step , I am asking what part I will need for what I am buying and if my casing will work is that too much to ask cause I could not find it.

You'll need a heat sink made to fit the flashlight, and module. You dont need a module with a power button, but the module needs to run off 3.7v to handle a single 18650 battery.

Do some home work on modules to find a better module.

Obviously you have no clue how to build a laser. No one can sit here and walk you step by step to learning this. There are links in my signature you can start with, and a boatload of stickies, and threads telling you everything you need to know before attempting to build a laser.

No one is being an ass. You just wont accept what people are telling you. You cant learn without reading, period. If you dont want to take the time, than buy one. Its that simple.
