Don't worry Philip is who he says he is, He's the guy whom I bought my HeNe from. Communications were swift and it was packed, unlike anything I've seen before. It was exactly as advertised and in top condition.
To give you an idea, I made this DIY stand with some packing material he had on the bottom of the box. Everything was bubble wrapped with packed air on top.
 





Phillip, do you have your own thread on here. If not, it may be in your favour to have on like Podo does for Sanwu.

How much less visible is 375 than 405. I do not mean when downshifted just to the eye direct on a non active surface? Thinking of glow n the dark. Would it be less apparent as you draw with it. 405 has a visible dot of purple.

According to the relative brightness calculator 405nm is 12X brighter than 375nm https://slickscreen.github.io/laser-tools/brightness/

OP says in post # 1 "The color is not what I expected it to be, having a 355nm to compare to. I expected this to be a dim blue-ish gray, but it was actually a dim violet. If you pointed it at a wall and called it a true 5mW 405nm, I would believe you until I saw the rest of the room glowing."

Curtis Oliver noted in post #2 "Based on your description I can get a very good feel of what a 375nm laser is like. The halo and blurring, and the dim violet. All things I expected at this part of the spectrum. 375nm is the same wavelength that most common uv torches come in"

Gives an idea of visibility at least.
 
50mW of 405 is far brighter purple than 200mW 375nm.

Brightness wise it's better off described as material fluorescence + a dim purple halo. There are a lot more active surfaces than you'd expect... on a non active, non reflective surface, 200mW 375nm is about 1/10 as bright as 50mW 405nm.

I was hoping for totally invisible Except for fluorescenc. I guess against strontium aluminate you would not see it.
 
There's a slight hint of violet left but you need to be looking for it to really notice, same for other GITD materials. The color mostly gets washed out on any sort of active material.
