100W 808nm Bar <50$

I reckon you will have an issue supplying it with the needed current... LOL

•Operating Current: around 100~110A

well it seems im the highest bidder... Not quite sure how I will use it though... assuming I get it, which I doubt.

I bet it'll cutchoo good if you stick your hand up ons.
You will probably have to wire it right into the supply lines for your house to get over 100 amps :P

Well, your probably gonna have to buy a thousand dollar or up PSU...

BH:

If it was me, I'd parallel 20x 1084 based linear drivers, with balancing resistors. Then I'd feed it from some kind of 500W computer PSU.

But that's just my odd style.

If its the 100w 808nm from sinolaser then it's a QCW diode bar! and needs a maximum of a 20% duty cycle, it's typical "on" time is 300us

I'm pretty sure they're fine at 60W CW.

i've also recently bought one of these 100watts, in the process of putting together the QCW driver. If you are right, then it sure would make things easier. The pulse timing is the easy part, its the pulse amplifier that has been causing complications, but I may have it right with my last attemp (been trying to get a clean square waveform after the huge amplification).
Also dont just want to apply CW, in case I bust the diode!

Would that actually work? lol

Or about 300 AMC7135 :p

Buy seriously, I remember somewhere on here seeing someone talk about using a mosfet as a current sink. Don't remember how exactly but I'm sure it wouldn't be very hard to find. You should be able to find some mosfets able to handle that current, maybe parallel a couple.
