Canada post is on strike currently. It's going to take forever to get mine... also waiting on a package from o-like that shipped 5 weeks ago.

Postal strike would have to really suck. :( Thats at least something I don't have to worry about too much here.

Hmmm that's a new one. Is it turning the actual laser module inside the host? I didn't try turning that part. Probably isn't the best idea. I do not know what would happen if you unscrewed it all the way.

I missed this earlier. I don't think it's actually turning the module. I'll take some photo's tonight so you guys can see what I am talking about. I've had this section all the way off before, so I'm pretty sure it's not actually turning anything inside. It's an odd looking module inside, I am assuming this is what's known as a c-mount? If so it's the first one I've seen.

Here are some photos. Maybe they will help others figure out which piece I am talking about, since this thing has more sections then most other lasers I've owned.

Actual Lens section (This is the one when I turn it too tight, I get the weird speckle / splash pattern.

Module with what looks to be a third lens glued in place.

These are harder to see. My iPhone camera doesn't pick up bright light that well, so it's actually pretty hard to see.
Dot with "lens" tightened down too much.

glad you got yours...now you can play with it!!! i've been messing around with this laser more than I did when i built my first 1W 445.

just got mine, build quality is actually pretty nice, however i ended up with an 80mw.. :banghead: still a great buy, but come on, thats gotta be close to the lowest one so far yet! oh well, still came in one piece

Thanks Luke, the laser arrived a few days ago in nice shape.

I've ran it a few times so far (with goggles of course), and it works great! :)
Good clean solid dot pattern, and nice look.

Can't wait to get outside the city lights and fire this thing up some more.

Mine came in the mail today! Takes a few seconds for them to warm up. They are excellent! Thanks for organizing this yob :)

Just got one of these second hand from ARGlaser:whistle:

Peaked at 136mW, and seems to be stable around 130mW.

IR content is around 30mW.

Very nice little laser:)

Edit: The laser comes with a 3v rechargeable battery... has anyone tried it with a 3.7v? Or more importantly a fully charged cell 4.2v?
