100-200mw green 532nm 3v module LPM Results listed and shipped in/from USA IN STOCK

Re: 150-200mw green (532nm) 3v module shipped in/from USA OUT OF STOCK

GOOD NEWS!
I have taken the next step to asure every one the performance of each module sold and bought another LPM, I got the Laserbee IX this time instead of the Laserbee I. It should be here before the next batch of laser modules are in stock (aprox 14 days or less). Now with each module sold the buyer will receive a print out sheet for each module included in the package (if more than one) on the output for that specific laser module max output and average/resting output. The test will be done using a heat sink and a 3.3v wall power supply (3v when under load) and done for a lenght of 30 to 45 seconds from a cold start to alow warm up and let the module get to its maximum output and settle down to its resting output.

This is just MY PERSONAL experience, and NOT a suggestion, but I have been running the module I received on one 10440, initially fully charged at 4.2 V with a AAA size spacer. I have been using this laser a lot, and after more than a week of using it everyday, the 10440 reads 3.56 V. The 2 X 1.5 V alkalines I used initially got drained to below a 3.0V combined output very quickly (less than a day) and the laser output dropped as a result (from 160 to about 100 mW). With the single 10440 the module has metered consistently at 170-180 mW for days now with heavy use. Just a thought for those who don't like throwing money away on alkaline batteries...

Ibuprofen, could you post some pictures of you laser host or set-up you used for this module. I do not support/recommend running the 4.2v batteries on these 3v modules because doing so my self i have burned them out very fast before, but i also was not properly heat sinking just running some test and pushed it to far.
If you carefully monitor everything, have a real nice heat sink set up and don't do long burns it may last you awhile but only time would tell. I do trust yo know what your doing as you have no problems yet and your still getting great stable output :) I do want to see some pictures of your setup as im sure others would as well. I am glad your getting a lot of good heavy use from the module and are happy with your purchase that is the part i like best, when i see that people are happy with what i have sent them and they talk about there results and lab host set ups used. I have seen a lot of cool things done with these modules jayrob is one who has done some very neat things with these.
Yes the AA or AAA batteries to die down very fast and thus lowering the output fast as well, i like to use a wall power supply set on 3.3v and i probably get about the same results as you would using a 4.2v battery, im sure your readings would be slightly higher but we would not know unless you order another and i send the test results with using my power supply and you metered yours with your set up and compare the results. As i did get my laserbee LPM in yesterday.
This time i got the LaserBee IX 2w power meter the last one i had was the 1w, but im going to be doing some 445nm 1.5-2w builds soon and need the extra 1w measurement on the LPM, im very happy to own another LaserBee.
Modules should be shipped out late this week and be back in stock hopefully the following week i did not expect this long of a delay sorry everyone who is waiting.
Does anyone else want to share there set-up and some pictures of what there doing with these modules if you already got one. I could use some more nice beam shots.
Thanks again every one for your support.

madmacmo,
What are you using to power up the modules? What LPM are you using to get your readings? Those numbers do fall with in spec but maybe you can get higher numbers if you can tell us what your using maybe some of us can help you achieve better results. Are the numbers your posting the max out put your getting or are those resting out put numbers they are stable at? Pictures are always a bonus as well.

You just need the right rechargeable batteries for this module.

I put the module in one of a couple of empty E3 hosts I had lying around , decent heat sinking ability with these hosts as they are mostly 1 solid piece of Al.

I want one when there back in stock!!!!

Re: 150-200mw green 532nm 3v module LPM Results included shipped in/from USA OUT OF S

that would be 3.0v cr123a's right!!

If you are going to use primary lithium (non-rechargeable) then answer is yes. Pretty expensive option.

If rechargeable RCR123 3V cell

then

only with voltage drop diodes built in .

All other li-ion cells will go full 3.7V, and 4.2V whether they are protected or not.

Another option is different chemistry cells.

Ibuprofen, that looks nice very good looking host, nice beam shot too :)
The modules are going to be sent out to me on the 27th and i will have them back in stock about 5-6 days after shipped on the 27th so i should have them available for sale again here on the 3rd or 5th, i dont have many coming in this time i had to order a smaller batch, but the next time i order them the delay wont be so long if any delays at all, once i get up to full speed i will be able to always keep this in stock like i need.

If anyone wants to pre-order modules and send payments now to assure that you will get a module when they come in this is fine, however when making a pre order you are aware that the modules will not be in stock until the 3rd or 5th and i will be shipped within 1 day after i receive them so there will be a longer delay than normal. I will sell up to 8 modules at a pre-order price of of $62 shipped anywhere in the US, once in stock the price will be set back up to $65 remember i now have a Laserbee IX power meter and each module will be data logged and the graph will be printed and sent with each package.
Thank you everyone please PM me for Pre-orders now.

Any firm ETA on these yet? Are you going to power rate them and sell by bin power range as planned? Just checking in as i need to start some more projects:). Need at least one, maybe more, 200mw+ if you get any.
Let me know.

Re: 150-200mw green 532nm 3v module LPM Results included shipped in/from USA OUT OF S

Modules are on there way now a day or two behind scedual but not much of a delay, they should be here next week. I'm going to measure them all with my new Laserbee IX measured sheets wil be included with each module showed verifying its output and depending on what kind of power I get from this batch I will try to seperate them acording to there output with sligtly differant prices ranging from $60 to $70 I think, not to many comming in this time but if I can make another oder soon enough and have them produced in a timly fashion I should be able to avoid the out of stock time that was caused this time around. Keep your eyes out next week as they should be up for grabs some are already sold with the people who have made pre-orders so they won't be lasting long.
Thanks again everyone

Thank you

Re: 150-200mw green 532nm 3v module LPM Results included shipped in/from USA OUT OF S

Lasers are in stock!
After all the pre-order sales are shipped out tomorrow im left with only 6 modules that fall within spec.
I have some modules that are not in spec and normally i send them back but shipping is expensive so i will offer them to you explain the problems with them and sell them cheaper than what i pay if anyone wants them as it will save me from shipping them back. There are issues with some of these modules details will be explained per module and you can decide what the issue could possibly be and maybe it will be an easy fix but could possibly be the power board, may be just a weak diode or crystal, maybe the current is set wrong from the factory as i do not test current draw, I do not know enough about these to say what exactly is wrong maybe you will know by the explanation of its problems and how it acts, there is no promises that they may be fixed to increase power output they are sold as there listed output and you are aware of anything out of the ordinary before purchasing. some modules are just simply under spec and will be sold cheaper than what i pay for and are around 100mw+/- and are stable at there output as a normal laser should function.
Each individual module will be listed on my first post with a number corresponding to the laser module for sale, when you are ready to send the payment you can post a reply with the module # you are buying so other users know that the module is already sold, please do not list a module as sold if you are not ready to make a payment. I will try to update the page and remove the modules sold as often as i can to also help avoid mix ups. You can send the payment without contacting me to my paypal account to make sure you get the module you want as its first come first serve. You may also contact me with any questions or help with making a payment.
Thank you

Number 8, shipped to canada, how much do I owe you.

This one's sold

edit; payment sent for #8
