I am now searching for a cheap alternative to drive 12X diodes and I am pretty sure I've found one. I ordered 10 and will test them out on my little guinee pig 12X backup.

I ordered a bunch of cheapie drivers from dealextreme myself. If any of them end up working I'll post which ones.

The purple host is awesome ! Very good anodizing !
But i think that 12x 405nm suits better than a 445nm.
