Guys,

Michelle from DinoDirect.com has let me know that they're offering a deal for LPF on the following 808nm laser:
Click Me!

It's a Firedragon IV 1,8W 808nm laser

The price for the laser (LPF members only) is $172,23

Specifications:

Output: 1,8W (DinoDirect verified)
Wavelength: 808nm
Finish: (Supposedly) Type III Hard Anodization
Powered by: 1 x 18650 battery
Dimensions: 40 x 200mm

If you're looking for an 808nm laser then this might be a good choice for you. Seems to be FDA approved, too.

Disclaimer: I'm not receiving anything in return for this GB, I'm only organising it for the forum so that you guys can get a good product at a good price.

I guess paypal makes it too easy to get your money back when the product is not working?

Or is there is real effort on paypal's part to stay away from lasers? I haven't seen this policy enacted by anyone else (well, I'm not aware of any).

That's not true.

In fact, I believe DD will still take PP for regular priced laser purchases, no?

Μic said no. They'll stop Selling Lasers. (She said)

Thats a bad decision. For them, because they are going to lose a lot of business. And for us, because we dont have the protection of Paypal. So if you get a crap laser, you're stuck with it.

I think its more hassle to do a charge back. I dont have any CCs so I cant say for sure.

I also have no CC...but i wouldn't buy a DD laser so it doesn't matter ;)
Btw.: @MIC: What about the 1W 532nm laser? Already forgot about the fotos/videos? :D

Visa gave me the full refund when I have not received anything from thinklasers

EDIT: sorry I'm writing by an ipod and I'm not able to quote :(
