The module is really easy to remove, if you wanted to seperate it down to a host and the actual laser parts it could be done really easy. It would get through without a doubt if you sent it like that.

Unfortunately going to be a while before I have the laser... looks like.

Just got this in the inbox today:(

Posted in the fail thread as well:

lol why would you buy a laser just to decide to sell it at cost price (+ship) before it gets here?
maybe your the type that wants to "try everything out" but "only keep the best" ^_^

I'm EXACTLY that type.

I just know that because of it's size this laser will get very little use if I keep it, so unless it really blows me away peaking at 500mW+ or something, there is no reason for me to keep it.

I have an o-like that puts out over 550mW already, and use it quite often...

To go up over 600mW is just beyond what my wallet can handle at the moment.

In the process of charging batteries to test the last of my three transformable 200mW green lasers... two are going up for sale:)

I might sell some lasers to some of the mature people at school.

Thats like 2 people.

Hey guys, it is true that Paypal don't accept laser anymore. Not only our website, also others. It is a new rule from Paypal. Of course our other product is paypal available.

A stupid rule!!!~ Indeed`````

I don´t get it. You say it´s all due to paypal and ask us to visit your other page to order some but there it says "now accepting Paypal".

They probably aren't putting "Laser" into descriptions when purchased through those sites.

Takes a while for merchant services of any kind to catch on to this kind of stuff.

I'm guessing PP just noticed a significant number of disputes in transactions involving lasers and dino... and dd was given an ultimatum.

A month or two, or six from now, when PP catches on to the new websites, same exact thing will happen. New domain name... same old crap;)

You can still do it from as far as i know, i just bought a 50mw green laser using paypal about 20 days ago, when it clearly said they werent taking paypal orders for laser.. i did it anyways and it worked.. im thinking its just BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK type of thing

Well I´m not sure the Paypal story is true. I ordered a 200mW green at Dino 8 weeks ago after reading a review here. It should be a birthday present for my wifes father. Opened a case as it didn´t arrive. Finally they agreed last week to resend it to me. This week I got a mail telling me they are out of stock and won´t be aviable anymore offering me a giftcard that I accepted to buy something else. Paypal can´t be the reason as it was paid long time ago and on their LaserMan page I found a very similar laser with exact the same specs. Just the host is looking a bit different. It just costs nearly twice as much I payed for the one I didn´t get. LaserMan.com is not just looking and smelling like Dino. It is Dino acting at a different name. So they have all the lasers still in stock. I therefore am starting to belive it´s just a marketing trick to make more profit with lasers.

Also while waiting for this laser I ordered a 200mW laser at dealextreme and there was no problem in paying with paypal. They are still accepting paypal for lasers and shipping to europe.

Now comes the best part. Getting this gift card I ordered at Dino something else that might be useful to me. Now I also got a mail telling me it´s out of stock. It has nothing to do with lasers so I start asking myself if they are kidding me?

Last but not least. A page called Laserman.com accepting paypal... will for sure sell no puppets. But guess what? Lasers!

^^^Wow, that sucks.

When dealing with chinese companies, don't treat them with kid gloves... 40 days, no product... dispute and get your money back. Never close a dispute until you have either the money of the product in hand.

Stock issues are complete and total BS... they could have EASILY substituted another 200mW laser.

I don't know what is happening, but you can't find pen/handheld lasers in DX over 5mW:
Green Laser Flashlight, Pointer, Pen, Module, Keychain, Green Laser Stage Lighting on Sale - DealExtreme

You are right. I also can´t find green lasers over 5mW there now. But the modules are still aviable as well as high powered other lasers. See for example here.2W 808nm Infrared IR Laser Pen Pointer w/ Safety Lock/Keys/Strap/Charger (1 x CR123A) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme or here 100mW 405nm Blue-Violet/Royal Purple Laser Module (3V) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme

I guess there is something else going on. Just take a look at the Kryptons from WL´s. Lets assume they are outputing 1W of green by being powered by a 2W Ir diode that is just running at 1700mA. This is exactly the same current my 400mW green is taking. So obviously the cristals used in this laser are way more efficient than the cristals in the currently sold green lasers. Maybe there will come an absolutely new batch of greens with this new cristal sets and therefore all the companies are clearing their stocks.

If it were Paypal they all would sell just 5mW ones no matter wich color they are having.

Ok. I´m just speculating now, but just because I can´t understand why also DX is all of the sudden not selling high powered green pen/handheld lasers anymore but still a 2Watt IR handheld. This is still a handheld laser and it´s 10 times stronger than a 200mW one.

Also keep in mind the other 2 DinoDirect subsidiary Websites are still selling all kind of high powered handhelds/pens and are still accepting paypal. Plus their names are directly letting paypal know they are selling just lasers nothing else.
