Yes, I plan to offer the SL II to LPF members at a discount.

Testing is going well so far, the two units we're currently testing have metered at 1720-1750mW (depending on room temperature) with an AixiZ lens and just under 2W with the G-1. I'm waiting to receive some copper diode modules which should be here within a week. Then I plan on at least a couple weeks of additional testing before sale. So we're looking at a release date of around mid-April if all goes well.

The beam is very impressive as you can imagine. :)

Seeing how powerful the first Survival Laser is
and imagining one with nearly twice the output
really makes me excited to get one of these
lasers.:evil:

It will be offered as the complete bundle initially, I haven't decided on whether to offer it in other configurations yet.

OK, I'm going to take another approach here.

I've created a new laser bundle exclusively for LPF members at price of $190 SHIPPED in the US.

It will include the following:

Survival Laser host assembly that includes the laser body (retaining ring, heat sink holder, battery holder with the laser-etched Survival Laser logo, tail cap switch and wrist strap), blue anodized aluminum heat sink with set screw, 0.050" Allen wrench, 445nm AR coated glass lens, lens focusing ring, external lens spring, lens cap and laser warning label.
1-1.3W diode and driver module
Two Juice brand RCR123A batteries
RCR123A battery charger
Complete assembly, operation and safety instructions
USPS Priority Mail Shipping

This is basically the same setup that Yobresal was selling, with a few bonus items (external lens spring, anodized heat sink, laser warning label). I will update the Survival Laser sales thread soon with this offer.

Now that seems like a great deal! For ten more bucks can I upgrade to the copper heat sink?

What lens does this laser come with? I couldn't find it anywhere on your website?
