Eagle Pair® OD4+ laser safety goggles P/N SL-BLG2 are now included standard with the Survival Laser parts bundles (with accessories). These goggles have exceptional visible light transmission (rated at 50%) and yet protect to a level of OD4+ (reduce the intensity of 190-540nm laser light by a factor of 10,000 or more), and are CE certified.

These Eagle Pair goggles can be used when looking at the spot created by a 445nm laser of up to 10 watts output power on a non-reflective surface. However, you should NEVER look directly into any laser beam or its direct reflection even when wearing laser safety goggles. Eagle Pair goggles shipped with the parts bundles do not include the case or cleaning cloth. Note: These goggles are for personal use only, not for any commercial use that is regulated by OSHA.

Will the Survival Laser II be offered to LPF members with a discount as well?
How are the Beta tests going? I have heard right around 2W.
Any update to the SL II timeline?

If the SL II will be released soon then It is a toss up of which laser I will want to buy.

Looking forward seeing the some pictures and videos of the SL II in action.
