Seriously the whole "Let's spend resources to get people killed without any concievably obvious benefits" a.k.a. "War" is getting a bit out of hand.

Through out my limited experience with deluded people who constantly claim sh*t like, "The Rapture is coming in some indefinite future" or "Everything's a hologram" or "Everybody but me is controlled by government"... ALL of these people are constantly rooting some insane reason in their subconscience that justifies never amounting to much in life.

Nobody of all those "Universe isn't real" people (and all alike) are having a firm stand and giving off that feeling that they're there to help if you need them. They're not, they're just creating this illusion of a world where they don't really have to do jack sh*t. It's all fake right? Why would you break your back helping somebody?

I eagerly await the day I'm proven wrong.

I don't see the need for such hate. While these things sound crazy, isn't it really just about how someone perceives something, and philosophy.

While a claim like "The universe is a hologram" sounds crazy, I still think it's intriguing to think about.

Now to present something like that as a fact is pretty ignorant to do. It's not a fact because it cannot be proven, just like so many other things in this life of ours.

I have studied the hologram similarities of the universe for a long time, read books on the subject by people with far more years of upper level math than I've had who are leading edge in their understanding of physics and I've been convinced the nature of the universe is essentially a kind of fractal hologram. It's a simple fact, you can study it yourself if you wish and come to the same conclusion, if you go far enough. If such a statement is insulting or goes against your current world view, my apologies but I have no doubts regarding this. As far as a debate and answering questions on the fly, these subjects are not the kind of thing I take so lightly as to care to debate them with others who simply want to win an argument, as is all too common in forums when there are differing viewpoints. If you sincerely want to understand where I am coming from, PM me and I will give references but not a public debate in a forum, I find them distasteful, any idiot can come in and shyt all over you when in a sincere discussion.

My worldview is far from the norm, that makes me incompatible with most people when I open up about what I know or believe in some areas to such a wide cross section of individuals who have differing backgrounds, education, understanding and beliefs as this forum has. So, if I don't debate, that's why, I find it too important on these subjects to go half way and don't have the time or desire to debate this stuff for the sole purpose of prevailing in an argument. Also, I sometimes post links to articles I find interesting and have no dog in the fight to defend some of them, they are just interesting to me, not necessarily my own beliefs. I don't know why someone would assume so much from so little information, just a link and now I'm attacked for it? It's not my web page.

But I do know this...how is the universe a hologram? Isn't everything in the universe different & ever expanding? If im not mistaken a hologram is an EXACT copy of an item(for example a car)....and well...I haven't seen another planet Earth(if that makes any sense).
