Netherlands: shining a laser at a plane will be a crime

...announced to increase aviation safety. Pilots are regularly interrupted in their work by people who shine laser pens at them. The number of geese in and around Schiphol is reduced. Birds around airports can create dangerous situations if they are the engines of the circuit may occur. The...

Help with a friends question -

My greenies help keep the birds off the roofs and ballfields at work , they crap all over the place. Maybe the problem with geese in parks can be solved with lasers LOL. I also use them for pointing at stuff in little field trips i do now and then for fossils. Really helps when explaining the...

Wow, glad your laser came out good. Just don't hit the poor geese with it! Its Also, guess what if you saw a group of geese then you saw a "gaggle" of geese! lol its funny what name they refer to different groups of animals with. A group of lions is a "pride" of lions, and its called a...

...to shine it across the valleys on onto the mountains many many miles away. It is so bright and awesome! This afternoon I saw hundreds or wild geese hanging out on a huge feild and pulled over and shined it on the snow near them and they got up and ran away from it. It was kinda hard to see...

    Turkeys and 532nm lasers

I did that the other night. Stay pretty far away when you do it though. I did it to a couple hundred that were in a pond behind my house. They go away from the dot though.

    Post your duck

My parents had domestic geese when I was little, the first one that chased me went into the pot. A canadian goose can break the cannon bone on a horse or grab a cat with their beak and break every bone in its body (literally) with their wings. Domestic geese are even tougher.

Lasers in Airspace, A view from the other side.

Some birds just grow really big, even in western climates. Things like geese, swans or storks are not that uncommon here. In reality they pose more of a danger to aviation tha lasers so far. A goose in the engine is something that would flame out a big jet engine, or completely destroy any prop...

Lasers in Airspace, A view from the other side.

...Arizona once in a great while we'll on take off from the ramp, will suck a sparow or turkye vulture but rare but dose happen, and of corse no damage to the rotorcraft rotor systems. I do not want to try that with a flock of geese, That has been proven byond doubt that they can bring down a heavy.

Lasers in Airspace, A view from the other side.

...from traffic and most human activity. Obviously most jet engines will happily gobble up a pigeon or two, but here in holland we get flocks of geese and swans too, sometimes requiring incoming aircraft to be put on waiting patterns until someone scares those birds off. As far as the...

    Recommend a Green Laser?

...the other two as back ups incase one burns out but i doubt they will. Unless its very bright out you will still be able to see the dot and 5mW won't blind anyone accidentally. Then spend the rest of your budget on a 50-150mW green from rayfoss etc for scaring geese...which sounds fun by the...

    Recommend a Green Laser?

...a laser in the eye is a recipe for disaster; but the thing is, something that would be safe and purposed for alignment likely won't have the "throw" you're looking for to scare geese off your property 1000ft away. Two applications here; you'd probably have to get two separate lasers to do this.

    Recommend a Green Laser?

...(This is just to get some extra use out of them...I'm buying them mainly for camera alignment): I want to use lasers to scare away Canadian geese from my pond at dusk and at night. The pond is about 1000 feet from my house. I've read that as lasers move across the water toward the geese...

    SPF!! 20mW PGL-III-C-473 for sale $250 shipped

...good because the laser is so bright and the little bar is dim in comparison. I am just burned out on lasers. I got rid of my enemy Canadian geese with the help of lasers, I've gotten to handle some really nice portables, now I go look for something new to capture my interest for a little...

    Laser pest control

...there. They can't fly and at best they'll start slamming into walls. Just get the dot close to them, and they should fly away. It works with geese. Every day, just keep going back inside with the lasers to move them out if they return. If they have nests, and/or have young, they'll keep...

...small Pelican case and stays in my car all the time. It's nice to have a semi-powerful laser handy where ever you go. It's a lovely Canadian geese mover. :) Additional update: Rayfoss never did give me a charger or a battery. I couldn't suggest that anyone buys from them based on my...
