This may not be a Sanwu laser i also have ebay lasers and the beam is not like yours this is not normal it looks like the lens is dirty got some dust on it or a finger print can you post a pic of the laser host if possible

The switch can not handle all the current i did pen laser builds and the push buttons would melt so i purchased a pack from china just in case but i stop building high power lasers in pen style you may have to use another switch i tried many things still nothing helped
