Probably just that I'm out-of-touch. Aaaaand... I've just done a bit of reading and, it's a funny thing, but some crazy guys in some book I was reading suggested that maybe I kind of... need... my heart? Should I pay them attention, or are they trying to mislead me?

Who says you need a heart! I mean need it for what?!?!

All it does is circulate blood through you... and keeps beating non stop. Get rid of the annoying thing ASAP!

Pretty sure you can just replace it with an artificial one anyway:p

qumefox: Sorry for not being amused by us.

InfinitusEquitas: Ah, that last one convinced me, but I need to stop posting on the subject because qumefox no longer finds it funny so unfortunately I can't sign.

Me and Lulighttec (just before i was leaving to orlando) I sure got the comment that I was wearing that belt not the right way, and it should be underneath the shirt.

Wow, for someone who's declared their repeated hatred for all things LPF, you've sure been popping up around here pretty often. What was it you called us pj? Shit shit and more shit? Lemme see if I can't dig it up right quick..

Ahh yes:

I personally consider LPF a big shithole with some interesting chunks laying very close to a bowl of shit.

But yet here you are, wallowing with us in our bowl of shit. Let me be the first to take the high road and welcome you back! Hopefully in the future LPF won't let you down so terribly.

Ah that old comment, yeah I just let it all out on that topic because I didn't found the attitude towards gary acceptible.
There aren't many people already programming stuff for laser, and chasing them away with negative feedback and nasty comments isn't going to improve that.
I just wanted Gary to know that his decision to make good software should not be brought to an halt by what other people think.

To be honest, LPF is ok. Now I don't like pointers at all to be fair, but not everyone here is an asshole or anything like that.
This comeback is giving me a better impression of LPF as of know.
But remember I will likely always stay an PL user at most :b

Well I actually find display a lot more interesting than pointers, but PL also isn't really the 'friendliest place on the planet' either heh.

Plus pointers are easier to deal with on a limited budget. Not everyone with an interest in lasers has multiple thousands of dollars to throw at projector projects.

And EF, you may have been wanting to take the high road, but I think you drove straight off the cliff with the opening of that post. :na:

Thats ok, I got the point he was making.

And that is also correct, PL isn't always nice to be at but it certainly isn't bad.
Anyway I sort of found the chance to also spend some time here on LPF every now and then.

The point was made though.. It wasn't my intention to start yet another "PL vs. LPF" row, both have their ups and downs. I never have had any problem with PL as a resource and website, it's some of the people there that are untenable to me. The same applies to LPF from their perspective as well. It's all too easy lump everyone together into one group, but doing so is never fair to those who are not problematic.
