Thanks to all for the congrats anf especially the doner Wiedmark.
here is dos centavos on this: may I suggest that in threads and posts we refer to this as an 'incentive' as PP frowns greatly on 'ra44les' dont even use th 'R' word and we should never have a problem doing them. I would hate to see this 'incentive program' end because of PP policies.
I see that many have already donated this month--Thats super!!
One other idea I had was to have last month's lucky person host the following month.
They could put a little something in and others could add to it. There is IMO no such thing as too many 'incentive' items, and , there could always be, at the descresion of the host a runner-up or second and third place gift receivers.
Also it would be nice for every lucky one(s) to do a review of what they received to say thanks to the donor(s) and encourage others to donate and maybe be the lucky one(s) next time.
Senkat has made an offer(left from March) and I will add some lumia items etc to that. The items donated do not IMO need to be laser related. Small items may be a better idea due to increased cost to ship large ones. And any item that the winner cannot use can be added to next month 'incentive gifts' Like I did with Greg's generous offer. Some might like to send an item as a surprize gift, that way the lucky one(s) will not know thier gift until they open it.
Maybe admin would like to make a new board or it works well if a new monthly thread is done in this board. To keep it where it gets the most traffic a sticky may be in order.
To make it easy on the host always make a post after donating(but plz not the amount)
