If I don't know better, I would say you invented the green laser diode.
Such a small laser module would bring alot of new possibilities.
Not really... This is still considered DPSS.. A green laser diode would
not use an 808nm IR LD to pump a crystal set.. Besides, green LD's
do exist and are available at a high $$$ value. Last I read, they may become
available to the hobby community when their use increases in items
like laser pico projectors..
I would like to think of it as the worlds smallest DPSS though :eg:
I cant really call it that yet... I still have
to work in the optics and IR filter, but it will be much smaller
and hopefully more powerful than any other.
