Quick GB - Sleds, diodes

I'm ordering some bits and pieces from China and I was wondering if anyone else wanted to jump in with me. Pricing would be:

about $7 for PHR or LPC
about $18 for SF-AW210
I'll ask about higher diodes, but GGWs will be in the range of comfortably under $45

+ your share of shipping to me from China (small amount, since my order is large in comparison - you'd pay about $3?)

+postage costs to you from me (£1.68 to anywhere in the world, or £1.21 in EU, or less in UK, up to 100g)

+any extraction/harvesting of diodes if you want (not much - $1 or $2 per sled for diode to be hot-air desoldered using ESD-safe procedure, taken from heatsink and tin-foiled or solder-balled for shipping)

+5% of the total price to cover PP fees.

I have Aixiz modules too if you want or need them.

The order will be being placed in around 1 week so please express interest sooner rather than later. It might not be worth it for people buying one, but if you're after 2 or 3 diodes the cost saving may be higher. Payment would be before placement of the order if demand is high, or on delivery to me from China if demand is low and I have enough PayPal $ to cover the order.

NOTE: I think the SF-AW210s will be diode only from the supplier. Hope this isn't a problem for anyone?

Thanks everyone for your interest - the order is larger than I'd expected, so if it's OK I'd find it easier to collect money before placing the order. I think it should work as follows:


Sunday Night/Monday Morning: Final deadline for expressing interest. I'll contact supplier with final order quantities and get the best price possible on Monday. I'll contact people on here once I've got the final prices sorted and ask for payment.

Once I have enough money in my account to cover the transaction, I'll place the order (I don't need everyone to pay immediately, I should have enough to cover anyone who needs to pay later for any reason). I'd hope that I'd have this ready on Wednesday or Thursday. I'm on study leave from then, so I should be home nearly all of the time (except a couple of hours every few days when I'm actually in the exams), so it's unlikely I'd miss a delivery (even if I did, I'd be in the next day for redelivery).

This will take about a working week to get delivered to me from when I order - from them, I will desolder diodes where necessary, package up people's orders and send them on.


@Jaycey - don't worry about paying up-front - I can cover your part of the order so you can pay in cash.

@Marco - my initial estimate put your order at just under $200 including fees, insured shipping etc, but the order is larger than I expected, so with a bit of luck I can haggle the price down somewhat and get a better price than this.

@bloompyle - no problem, I'm sure we can make it work somehow.

@Everyone else - I have a note of what you'd like - I'll post the final details after my email on Monday.

I'm in the UK so I don't have much use for dollars - I could go to a currency conversion place but they take some commission. I work in dollars on PayPal though because currency conversion is easier, and I order from DX quite a lot.

If it's easier I can buy an extra SF diode in the order and hold on to it until you can pay via PayPal?

Well, I have $70 now, but I'm buying a 3405 kit from jayrob, so that's $45...so I have exactly $25 left for the diode. I have to wait till Tuesday or WEdnesday to put the $70 in the bank, so I can buy them...Tuesday or Wednesday... I hope that'll work.
