Do you plan on downloading it on March 30th? It is going to cost $15 and it will include 3 new multi-player maps and 2 multi-player maps from the original Modern Warfare game.

I will be buying it and I hope to see all of you playing.

Later,

It's coming out for Xbox first and then it will come out for PS3. I'm not sure about the PC version....sorry. :(

Here is a video of it.

Well I guess I should have expected that since apparently they decided to abandon the PC community with MW2 and the lack of dedicated server support. O well :(

That's the reason why I didn't buy MW2 for pc. I had heard bad reviews for it on the pc. It's also one of the reasons why I recently bought a 360.

I sold my MW2 last week. The game was a massive dissapointment for me, and the map pack being $15 was its final nail in the coffin. Some people have said "its only 2 cinema tickets," but i think it sets a precedent to other developers/producers to increase prices.

Having said all that, to the people that buy it, I'm expecting crash and overgrown to be just as amazing as before

Rob

Overgrown was my favorite map on the original MW.

As for the prices...well, at first I thought that the price is a little steap, but if you consider the fact that it is only 1/4 the price of a new game....well, then it suddenly looks more appatizing to me....

So to put things into perspective....if this was a brand new game that cost full price, it would include 20 maps, which in my opinion is a great deal, when you consider what you get on average.

Now...why was MW2 such a big dissapointment for you? Just curious.

I will most likely buy this. Time to own on more maps. I really hope they are good.

I used to love that game, but Ive become a huge fan of Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Theres a lot more game play involved, plus big maps and a fully destructible environment.

It's one of my all-time favorite games (Infinty Ward rocks )! Unfortunately I don't have the time to play online games (DM, CTF, etc.) anymore; it's simply too time consuming. You need to practice regularly if you want to enjoy yourself. Sigh... :(

If it does come out for PC (which I'm sure it does) then I will most definitely be buying it. I don't care that it's $15, it's not that much considering it's a pretty good game.
What concerns me is what size it is :undecided: , don't want to use most of my download usage on it lol.

I hate Infinitywhore they ruined MW2(for PC). It would have been the most epic game evarr but they had to yank dedi support and give us hackers paradise (IWNet)

Dude u are 100 percent right.but I still miss the old days when activision made the games. In my opinion CoD1 expansion was the best. Why? because the maps were monstrous plus there were vehicles (tanks and jeeps) Also i really hate this modern warefare... they shudve stuck with WW2. CoD2 was pretty good too but i didnt like it too much cause they took out the vehicles... Dont get me wrong MW2 is a good game but its way too easy... u can just aim at a guy and hold down a button... It makes u suck in other games aswell... I played mw2 for like 1 month then i go back to css and my score was 5 and 32 in one of the games. Cause i was so used to spraying.

Therefor, Activision is the best.

Just for the record, I was talking about their SP work. As I haven't played MP since UT3, I can't comment either way, but I imagine you all have enough "current" MP experience to make a correct assessment.

Their SP games are excellent though, so like I said before, I think IW rocks

SP was intense and ill give them that but it could have been a little longer. I remember when it would take awhile to beat a game in SP.

Personally I'm glad they have deviated away from the whole WW2 era. It was just getting old and repetitive. Plus in my experience... vehicles in multiplayer usually ruin it...

And I doubt there will be many CoD games coming out soon (at least not based in modern warfare) seeing as though Activision sacked IWs two founders for basically no reason...
IW is good IMO...you can't really blame them for not giving you EVERYTHING you want in a game.
