I don't personally own a laser yet, sadly.
I hope to eventually though.

The tunnel gun effect is really what sparked my interest.
I think lasers are really pretty, and I'm really interested in learning all about them.
I want to be able to build them, and create things with them, and make some kick-ass house decorations when 'Bandanna' and I live together.
(Sorry, the awkwardness of referring to him as Bandanna hasn't seemed to wear off yet.)

If you asked me about what to get for a first laser I would say this one.. hard to beat for price and fun-factor,,, http://laserpointerforums.com/f52/laserlands-green-30mw-disco-laser-extensive-review-47799.html bit of a wait to get from china but IMO worth it.--Hz

@bulletharmony: of course she knows. I've tried everything, showing her how they burn, tunnel effect, beams, spirographs, laser shows videos... There are only 2 kind of reactions:

1.-Oh, cool. (5 seconds later) hey, it's allright! (10 seconds later) goes away.
2.-You're a freak.

FORGOT TO MENTION- the green disco laser makes a fine tunnel EFX as it comes to you and outputs 42 mWs in the pointer mode. Get it and you will be on your way to a laser collection..
