50 MW Blue DX Laser :(

I'm looking to buy one of these 50 MW lasers, but there is a stupid ban in the US. I tried PMing the guy about the DX shipping service, but it looks like I'm just a little bit too late.

So, if there is another shipping service I'm unaware of, let me know. Or, if anyone has one of these laying around they aren't using anymore (preferable :]) feel free to post or PM me.

If you have a used one that is the 100 MW DX laser and don't mind selling it a little cheaper (as its used) I'd be interested in that. My budget is about $35, but I guess I could do $40 if the deal is too good to pass up :]

I'd like to edit in that I also have a LACII 500 GB networkable hard drive I could trade. Its really neat...its pretty much an external hard drive that you can plug into your home router and use as a server :] Its worth about $100, should anyone be interested in that.

look at Daguins thread for modules.
get a blu-ray module for $35 and build your own laser.
daves module will be around 100mW

I was thinking about it, but I'm not that good with things lol. That, and I really like the slick pen-style design. It'd go with my other green ones I have from DX.

Not looking for anything too serious, just something to play with :]

I have two powers of bluray modules available right now.

One is an SF-AD115 diode ($35). It is putting out 30mW.

The others are 6X based modules ($100). They are putting out ~190mW

Yeah -- But he wants DX blue That is special kind of blue, dontch know?

@ Oisterboy -- If you buy my module and build your own, it will be focusable. The DX units are NOT focusable.

Haha, I know, I know. Its lame in comparison to the stuff you guys have.

Yes, rather enthusiastic we all are! :D Why I've even made 2 songs about the forum/lasers (and a soon to come part III) :whistle:
