Hey there,
Looks like no one has posted to this thread in a few months. Ive reached out to Sanwu a few time over the last couple months and havent heard back. Can anyone tell me if they are still open for business? I was interested in their RGB laser for a long time. I'm not necessarily trying to purchase one right now but I would like to in the future. Maybe this coming year in addition to one of their LPM. I havent beenactive on the forum so Im not sure if I missed an update on a change in status of the company. Thank you
I just received an order from them 2 weeks ago. It took about 1 month from placing the order to delivery.

Jerry at Laserbee is excellent to deal with.

I just received the 'ranger'.
This one:
h t t p s ://www.sanwulasers.com/product/laserrangers

I got the one with the 5w blue laser.

Which lens replacement do I need to buy:
h t t p s : //www.sanwulasers.com/product/lenses

Looks like there are different options.

You need the 9mm or 7mm g7 lens for the 5w ranger.

I don't get it, 7 OR 9 mm? Wont it either be too small and fall in or be too large and not fit?

Also, are all the lens the same size?

i got the sanwu striker 1.6w 405nm laser with an expander goggles and battery paks coming in

anyone wanna recommend a good duty cycle free cheap burning laser in blue or red to go with it? im talking less than $100 by far

maybe 500mw blue would do it? but refer me to smth

at any rate i think its amazing the 1.6w 405 nm can disinfect water... does anyone know how fast? i calculated it in my head it should be under 3 minutes n for a 750ml bottle of good clear streamwater right?
I bet 1.6w is strong because it is concentrated the beams that did 55j/cm were probably going through how voluminous a pipe and disinfecting it as a simple filter
As the water passes
This should be effective before the water even boils for decently clean mountain or spring reservoirs
Probably 3min for 750ml while 'stirring' with thelaser
It is also virucidal
I bet it oxidized genoprote tive quinolines
So you will probably still have a slight risk of mutagenic radiation
I will be careful
I could probably perform coupling reactions and aromatic saturated ring acid oil condensation

With this laser
I am happy
Do you guys know how well these lasers are built? The striker 405nm i want to know if this laser is going to be lasting me for a lifetime or a very long time or what
Can i really leave it runing without a duty cycle at this power?
I mean it was $485 and i tried to make sure as well as i could
Really excited anyways

Also if Sanwu reads this my order is 9996 and I haven't got tracking and its been a week ;p

I wouldn't use your laser to disinfect water for yourself. They make tablets you can get to do that that actually work well.

Hmm, well I have a microscope. If it really works well, I will know for sure. Maybe I should make a thread about it in the violet forum to show the results and see which wattages actually will do it right.

Well, the laser arrived and it is clocked at 1.4w, I'd guesstimate is more like 1.32 when I installed me Efest 4200mah 50w 3.7v 26650 batteries, but wow its great. I like that its clocked a little lower because I want this thing to be able to run indefinitely. I heard some people say the life of the diode doesn't really change when overclocked when heatsinked, and others disagree. I wonder about the actual duty cycle - truly negigible/infinite, or is it better to shut it off after a few mins? It doesn't seem to warm up over a minute of use when I was outside at just above freezing but that doesn't mean much I guess.

Sanwu did mess up the engraving/left it with default which said 1600mW so I just decided to ignore that and I am not worried about that; especially since they gave me a clocking that I thought was even more stable and reasonable.

All in all, this laser is a beast and the beam expander makes it a joy and also probably safer to use.

Hello everyone! In new to the laser pointer community and was going to purchase the 150mW 304 laser. After reading all of the reviews, I’m starting to second guess my choices. Almost everyone has said that their experience with Sanwu has been disappointing. Can anyone back up all of the good claims I’ve read throughout this forum? Thanks
