Can anyone help me out with a kit or something pre built . Im looking for a blue/ ultraviolet laser
Something that can burn and I mean burn lol

Previous hobbies I raced rc cars and built custom race drones . And age wise im 29

Yes sir ive got a soldering iron and all ive been building custom drones for several years now.
But I wanted to get into high power lasers. I was hoping someone would be able to hook me up with a kit or some spare parts to get me started. I really want to build something capable of burning
 
Hi, You need these to start off for safety , you only have one set of eyes this is highly recommended .
Then go to the DTR Laser Shop .com and choose a diode, driver,lens package. I would start with a lower power diode being that you are new to the hobby.

We are blessed with many great members -world wide-but connecting for Laser Meets (LEMs) is not always easy --some small meets happen quick == not much lead time for Pop-Up LEMs-
want a laser to be metered? any LPF member here with a LPM , by custom, will meter any laser any time..
It is a mistake to go BIG too fast.. do your homework-- check the sigs of most members for good links.
AND GET your eye protection First.... always then get a laser. you want to get eye protection that covers the lasers you want to own . I sometimes wear two pairs .. covering most that we use.
Those that protect from many/all wavelengths are very 'spendy.'
BUY FROM FORUM MEMBERS!!
Survival Laser has good eye wear.

Most of us take excellent care of our lasers-- buying from a member leaving the 'hobby' has its advantages.

Hi.
You can order diodes, drivers and a lens of your choice from DTR Laser Shop. There are a multitude to select from .
Copper modules in different sizes to fit the diodes wasted heat.
Lenses to suit you divergence desires. He is a stand up guy for customer service bar none.
Diode purchases are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you get from other sellers. You need to know what is a good deal.
