Straight Line Cap for Laser Pointer

Hello Laser Community! This is my first post and I'm coming to you with open arms and a desperate need. I've scoured the internet and have had no luck outside of one cap that is too big for my laser. I am looking for a straight line cap for a laser pointer to create a "sheet" effect in a laser show. Does anyone know of any companies that stock such a cap OR a company that will make one for me. It's not needed for a month or two so have a bit of time. Any suggestions are so graciously appreciated!

haha yes sorry ty you too, although at first glance your response came off as snarky with the $3 comment and i did not see the pics attached, just saw the link which brought me to a page selling a bunch of stuff. since I'm pretty new to this i had seen a bunch of pages like that but don't really understand what I'm looking at. so yes, thank you again for helping out and i apologize for not thanking you sooner. i am very appreciative and have ordered some caps so fingers crossed!

Thanks! I appreciate the help. So I saw the line lens (clear plastic piece) but not sure how to find an empty cap to put it in so it will screw onto my laser. Is AixiZ module what i should google to find an "empty cap"?

In a pinch a glass rod can work. Most any cylinder lens will work. Just rotate the laser for best line.

I’ve compared it to the cheap 3 dollar inserts for a axiz module and those are shit, in comparison, and I had two M140 diodes fail using the cheap rounded flat ones due to what must have been back reflections, IDK, maybe I drove them a bit too hard, but after that I stopped using that type.

okay so im pretty new to this, i have a laser pointer i need to attach this too...do you know where i can find the parts to assemble a "cap" for this lens?

For the large Edmund Optics rod/cylinder you will need to find a way to mount it. You could just center it and use something like UV glue to fix it into place on some kind of cap, or mount it inside anything which can fit over the output of your laser. If using a pointer but if your pointer has a rotating focus, you will need to focus the unit to infinity first, if you want a certain orientation when done. It's not that critical, but does need the beam to be at infinity focus first.
