Nice photos, Andrew, the waterfall looks very peacefull and relaxing!
Lovely pics Tero and Andrew. :)(y)
Great photos! Did you use long exposure for that waterfall?
Thanks Jeff, Curtis and Jirkas99.
Yes on the 'waterfall' I used a longer exposure to smooth out the water and capture finer detail.
:)
Where I'm from they don't call that little stream a water fall, Andrew. You should see some of the falls in Yellowstone or in the Cascades or Rocky Mountains. Massive!
This is true Paul and I can't imagine those huge falls you guys have over there.
Yellowstone is just one place I'd love to visit along with The Grand Canyon and other wonderful sights you guys have.
As for this little stream, I know it looks little in the photo but when it rains and there's an abundance of water, I'm told it does run more like a proper 'fall'.
I'l have to go back and try and capture a better shot when it's running full on.

I spent a week in Yellowstone back in 1981. If you ever get a chance to go there it is well worth the effort. Multnomah Falls on I84 on the way to Portland, OR is several hundred feet from top to bottom. I haven't been to the Grand Canyon myself, but I have heard it is equally impressive.

Paul, if I ever get a chance to visit these wonderful places I'll first drop past and pick you up and we'll tour together.

That was nice. I hope he enjoyed it. Is there a lot to see in the harbor? Aside from the opera house?

Yeah we have those same gardens here. I remember a time when people could and would receive a life sentence in a Texas prison for possessing a small amount of cannabis. Never thought I would see this in my lifetime. It was long overdue.

That's a crazy sentence! It was 14 years in the UK AFAIR.

Definitely long overdue, hopefully more places follow suit. Never expected it in my lifetime either but here we are!
