Re: FS: Mech-mod drop in Host - Copper & S/S

That's nice, Corey. Was any of that part of the package I sent you? I was relieved to see it got to you without issues. Good luck on your sale, buddy. :D

Hi J,
Glad to see your using the Delrin machined isolating spacer for the copper sink. Should be a go with the case POS+ diodes, I was wondering when you were going to put the two together.
Good luck with the sale buddy looks great .

Indeed so Paul, I've build one into an Isolated adapter for my <505 case positive diode, very happy with it. No need for a second unit so im happy to pass it on

Hi Rich,
The first unit's been built for some time now, the idea worked great for my case+ <505 diode. Very happy with it, and no need to use the blitzbuck, you can use any driver with this isolated adapter, im using an Omni at 220mA. And you get full heatsinking capability, no need to isolate the little 12mm module :)

I have no need for the second unit, although its such a beautiful copper 510 adapter, built by you so workmanship is 100%

Thanks Rich!

Hi J, Thats great to hear I use the Delrin material to make different spacers for the builds . Its a little tricky to work with though, but strong enough . Glad it sold fast buddy.

Hi J,
Thank you the N520 S4X sale is still pending , Anyway I am glad this project worked out clean, The Delrin is a strong material I have some PTFE nylon bar but didn't try anything with it yet.
Just made an insert for the crenelated front of the S4X to hold a standard lens came out nice with the coated heat sink. A few pics buddy.

Rich, looks fantastic!
Hey another idea :) you could also create custom front plastic inserts for hosts, to fit larger diameter lens barrels for larger optics, instead of the standard M9, with a 6.35 lens, we could start going bigger for the MM diodes :D

Hi J,
Great idea that would be awesome to cut the divergence down on a diode like the 44. The insert I made is machined of AL in the pic .
