Just out of curiosity, do you use corrective lenses for nearsightedness? If so, they have a tendency to refract light of different wavelengths like all substance with an index of refraction do, and cause different colors to appear as if they are above or below the display. Just a thought.

No, I do not wear glasses for a few years now. However I suffered with headache few years ago. It was about a month with no single sun ray here. I went to optitian and my eyes were allright according to their tables. They were surprised how accurately I needed to set the correction for sharp view, since I saw blurry what caused headache. They told me that they have never met someone able to distinguish lenses with such a precision. I used the glasses for a few months, but later they were not needed anymore. This was before me getting first laser.

Now my sight is excelent. Due to laserpainting experience I can be in low light condition well (I can read and see where people usually need to switch the light on) also I can focus with precision. After exploring those holograms my eyes improved further. I can focus much more. On TV screen I can distinguish tricks they used and noone else see that. I notice details much more, see awesome compositions for photography, I perceive the light as dynamic 3D space I move inside. It is wierd, but you can train your eyes (if you know how eye and perception works, it helps a lot).

And that's why I need feedback on this, my sight is different, what limits me - I'm biased.

Edit: BTW great point, Paul. I wanted to rep you, but I need to spread some. :/

Since I don't see what you are talking about, it was just a thought of what MIGHT be going on. Since you don't wear corrective lenses, that theory is wrong. I have been looking at some other things that some people are calling holograms, like the glass pyramid turned upside down on a laptop screen to see images that are projected up and appear as if it is three dimensional, but is just an illusion.

Since I can't see it, I really don't know.

Yeah, that glass pyramid is something else. And even holograms are kind of illusion - like (perceived) reality itself is - created in brain.

Anyway thank you for your help, Paul.

I'm about to use jpeg compression in combination with higher resolution on one detail from the artwork. This should increase depth of field a bit. Will be posted here soon. Also I'm about to see my friend (he works in research and invented high efficiency air cleaner for labs, water with special healing effects - hydrogen enhanced and he is working on further projects), I need to discuss it with him and also implying matters. Also there is his friend - that laser scientist we are about to see.

Ok, does that mean more laser painting? :D

Hi Bob,

I was out of LPF for a while. It means there will be something AWESOME coming. Amazing completely new form of my laserpainting artworks. I did a lot of research and developement and there is revolutionary art coming. Much better than even before. New techniques, new approaches, new philosophy, new science...

Much is to happen here. And a lot of work ahead for me to summarize my notes from recent weeks especially.

Stay tuned...

R. :thanks:

Reminds me of one of my old sketchbooks. :p
I’ll have to try and find it and take a picture.

I have had too much of them and my library collapsed into a black hole. It took a lot of stuff. So, now I just carry books and my philosopher's minimum. Better for your back. :D

I’m notorious for keeping a lot of the info in my head, but my degree required me to get some of my thoughts on paper. I’m not brilliant at getting all my ideas down because I’m not in need of it. But by doing so they got a nice two a4 spider diagram of chaos. They had no clue where to start. :D
