Hi Guy,

My friend own a Sanwu 480nm 80mw laser pointer, it's a custom-made. Now he wants to release it out, any one have interest and how much could be, here are pictures and videos:

How much? I just bought a 480nm, so I probably won't be buying, but it's always nice to know a price:)
 
What is he asking for it? A price would be nice to know if trying to decide whether to buy it or not.
 
Looks like it's in smooth Guardian host with no groves and groves. Nice looking unit! Best wishes with your sale.

actually he dosen't have a certain price, he mainly collect lasers but never release it out. i know provide a price will get it faster to sell. but you know in some cases he just don't have a clue. and could you guys give a fair suggestion?

could you PM me how much you bought? and how much power it is? he doesn't know the price.
 
I bought mine for $140, but since this has a Sanwu host, I'm not too sure. But that's what I bought mine for anyways.

I bought from Alien, who says it was about 120mW output, but I have yet to test it on my own because USPS is being absolutely rediculous and is refusing to deliver it to my mailbox:mad::mad::mad:
 
wow...strange to hear usps doesn't support mail box. is it too big? or you can pick it up on the post station?

I'll most likely have to go pick it up. They tried on Friday, but didn't try again on Saturday or today. Absolutely rediculous and frustrating. Either way I'll get it tomorrow.

I can make this host and diode combo since I still have a spare diode but just have no time!
I bet it's sold anyway unless he is just showing it!
 
Did the wavelength get measured and verified? I have a 477nm I built that does 127 mW. It was supposed to be a 480nm, but of all the many diodes I measured only one made it there. The rest were between 473nm and 478nm.

That's a question, not sure how well sanwu did. and we don't have a machine to check and not even get a report.
