I would say the same, Oliver. Not green (yet), but definitely not red. I got almost all their products I have for lower prices - special offer on entire Spyder collection, discount on LaserDock (the projector as in my signature) as I was one of their IGG crowdfunder. So they were great deals for me. Just Evo I got for a full price, but for these bucks for such a versatile laser - that is not much. The utility value for me is at about 180-200 bucks (I would be willing to pay this amount for it), they sell it for almost 150. But the Evo is a very special... It is completely different laser from Spyders and any other laser in my collection... Wait for my review for more... ;)

I am very much looking forward to your new review. :yh:
By the way, can you share more articles or reviews about lasers for me? In fact, I also understand that some people in the forum's post is not credible, I think your evaluation is very objective. I would like to learn more about lasers knowledge, and then through my own judgment to choose what i need.
Thanks

Yep, once you understand more about what is going on inside or what is currently possible then you realise that most cheap pointers are not what they claim to be. It comes with experience.
The problem is that they are relying on those not knowing what they are buying to make the sale. :tsk: Clever and profitable sale strategy that ends in disaster if not careful.
Imagine an individual who has got used to his 5000mW pointer and he wishes to replace it for another 5W laser only this one is true to its power. Disaster waiting to happen. People have no grasp on what the power of lasers even means. The higher the number the better it is of course. ;)

But then again, our 5W lasers are a rip off. I can go and get that for $30-50 on eBay.

I will learn more about lases knowledge, thank you for your suggestions and sharing.

Thanks a lot. ;)

Look in Reviews forum, there is a lot of reviews and some are really great. You might order them by rating (those yellow stars).

My review of WL Evo I decided to write quite recently, so it will take some time to do it. Maybe I'll be using it for a whole year at that time. There are much more projects related to LPF I'm working on right now in my free time, so there is a lot of stuff to do and just a little time to get them all done. :D

BTW: I'm currently waiting for a better weather to try to make another laserpainting.

You might see the list here:

Working on projects…

And you have great approach by getting more knowledge instead of jumping into class 4 laser without eye protection as is quite common for newcomers. Rep+
