Wow, what I looked on boomlasers they look very proffessional. But only like the last word of my previous sentence.
It might confuse the newcomer to be of high quality. I do not have my experience with them, still on first look they remind JetLasers products with some Sanwu stuff (caps with optics). Not sure, but I got feeling of conterfeit product comparing it with original JL. If I read descriptions, it does not provide me with much valuable information. Looking on tech specs and comparing it with above info I see contradictions in power ratings (minimum or maximum?) and others - some hosts even look not able to handle heat to that power (1000 mW of 532 nm in that small host taking 2 18650? Where is place for the module with optics, heatsink, electronics?). I miss duty cycle and other important information there. And with my little experience with lasers I just do not trust these specs. Price is also confusing as it is priced much more than "competition" (=original product).
Overall I do not trust that company based on my first look. I would ask LPF and here we go... Not a good impresion for somebody considering first laser carefully.
Finally I'll stay with my Optotronics RPL II selection for high power 532 nm... Even the power and price is higher, Opto is real laser not on screen/paper only.
Sorry boomlasers, maybe it is time to change a bit to become more reputable, sell at fair price, advertising real specs, possibly own recognizable hosts and there might be place on the market for them (definitely even Sanwu has bonus 303 type lasers in their offer, but with added value - these good of them and at fair price).
Note: I did not checked any review of these lasers, just my impression from what I've seen.
Edit: What the hell means "frequency conversion"???
