I would love to see More Artistic & Quality Indoor / Outdoor Beam Shots in this thread (especially brucemir and few others).
Hopefully no blurry or poor quality photos here.

Thank you!

Great idea for a thread. Although my intense interest in lasers has passed, like most of the hobbies I pick up, it will never completely go away. I don't tend to invest much time in photography anymore but I still enjoy lasers and love looking back at old pics.

One thing I really learned is how to cleverly position certain lower power lasers along with higher power ones so the beams look roughly equally exposed in one picture.

Edit: I'll add this final pic as is probably the best one I got of 594 and 589 together.

Edit 2: found a better one that actually shows what my 594 was capable of when it was behaving:

That's because I used film some of the time. It gives the red beams that sort of saturated tron look.

face painting with a laser. eyes firmly closed lol.

I thought it looked like film, but there's so few people that use film these days that I just automatically assume it's taken with a digital camera using a "filter" - as in the digital sense of the word.

I like that effect! I've seen a few folk doing that - including one artist that did a similar set with his naked wife/girlfriend. Turned out pretty cool.

Brucemir - loving those last two outdoor shots. :D

that's really good . this is an excellent idea of a thread, I will probably never create another thread again ...

I cracked out the lasers tonight - my four colours that remain - and did my first photo session in probably over a year. I've lost my edge a bit, but I did what I could, pre- and post and here is what I got.

took to the hallway ... I like this style of shot. simple but visually pleasing.

and again.

I have no tripod and haven't had for some time, so I had to get really inventive to get these. I get by without a tripod for most of my other photography needs, as I have very fast lenses which even work well at night. Lasers are a whole other ball game and I'd forgotten how hard they were to photograph successfully.

The good news is I probably won't sell off any more of my lasers - 589 is too good to let go of and the others have sentimental connections - so I will have plenty of time to get to grips with it all again.
