Today I gonna promote a fine laser power meters in my signature which created by my friend who has been improving it since he made his first one a year ago. And now it's finally good to release publicly though it will not be the final version but he sold 10 units already in our laser community so it's time to let me present it here on laserpointerforums also. A lot of techniques and new materials being used to build this LPM, some of the methods may not even discovered and being used here on LPF.
Calibrated by the Ophir Nova LPM:
11.3W Test Video:
Specifications
Power Supply: USB
Sensor: Thermopile
Response Time: ~10 seconds (90%)
Response Time: ~15 seconds (95%)
Sensor Cable Length: Customizable
Power Range: 1mW to 12W(10W MAX with LED display) (20W with multimeters but we can't make sure its accuracy >12W)
Auto Zeroing
Resolution: 100uw
Able to read <10mw.
They can go more than 10W but our test only goes up to 12W only because the ophir can't handle such output.
There are two display methods(you need to turn the swicthes on the back first): the normal LED display or multimeter display(1mv = 10mW).
The thermopile sensor don't need to be powered up and able to read the output precisely, you can connect it to any display device you want.
It is calibrated by a Ophir LPM to ensure correct readings.
The production will be 2 weeks and he will only start making when the order quantity is enough.
$85 for now as for presale, the price is fixed for now and after the first round of production it will be back to normal or higher with more functions coming in the futrue.
pm me or comment here to let me know you are in!
