Hello everyone.

Received my laser from LAZERER and I decide to keep my promise on reviewing it. Actually I get this laser a while ago but I am busy on my school work and sorry for the late review. Laser is ordered at 21/11 and they ship it three days later. I receive the package on 6/12 so the shipment totally take 16 days to italy which is very acceptable.

Please refer to my ealier thread first:

First of all I have to apoligize for not taking an advise on buying from a better site. (I make the purchasing before someone else giving suggestion. I am so eager to buy a laser haha)

Here is the laser I bought. The LZMN532-050. The laser itself is very well made. It is small but much heavier than I expected. Also the thread is anodized so the cap turn very smoothly. According to the power certificate It has 65mW overall output and 13mW of IR output.

Someone say that their power test is not accurate but I can't verify it since I don't have a LPM. The beam is EXTREMELY bright and it will light a match almost instantly so I guess it is a on-spec laser.

Someone say LAZERER is not the best site to buy but overall I am quite happy with my purchase.

Thanks for watching and feel free to comment.

Well its good that you got it, but lazerer to me and others are pure crap nothing else, and i think the green laser dont have any IR filter i wouldnt want a green laser without that. And i wonder if the laser is even up to spec, would be fun to know as many have recieved underpowered lasers before but who knows..

If he lights a match almost instantly that certificate sounds accurate enough;) I've tested this with quite a large quantity of $4-5 pens. Every 50mW and over 532nm pen that I own I've made focus-able after testing/proving this out personally.
The big deal with Lazerer I've found is to purchase the power certificate as you are MUCH more likely to receive a unit that is on spec or above. Would be stupid to offer it and then sell a laser that doesn't meet spec (of course this may have changed and they lie about it now but I did purchase a few units in the past and they all were very close to their certificates.
All the above statement only refers to output power and not build quality or anything else;)
I recently received an oddball 80mW unit (not from them) that was mostly IR that to my surprise was still able to light a match. This was actually disturbing as a 15mW unit I received was actually more visible. Not good as others may give this to their kid as a toy.

Thanks for your comment but you are little bit radical. Have you ever bought from them and review yourself? Not everyone can afford a expensive laser and I think most of the laser up on market are not IR filtered.

The brightness and the burning ability is very decent and I don't think this will be a underpowered unit. The quality of this laser is absolutely worth its price. ( As least from my experience :) )

The build quality is no doubt very good. Laser is well anodized and the thread will turn very smoothly.

Sorry to hear that you got a green laser with high IR content. I am glad that my laser only have 13mW of IR output. :D

Pretty cool thing you got there, and 16 days to Italy isn't that bad. Thanks for posting the review!

Is this your first 532nm laser or have you had others? Once you get above 100mW the beam of those things are simply stunning!

Enjoy your laser Shadow!

It's nice that you spent the time to write up a review, and took some decent photos. Still... not to rain on your parade, but that is a really unremarkable laser that is sold at any number of online laser shops across Hong Kong. Is it really a laser worth writing a review for?

I guess the most remarkable thing is that you actually received it from Lazerer, but that may have been because it's an unremarkable laser.

Anyone know what happened next? Maybe he get his money back. I won't judge for someone just because "someone say...." unless it is my personal experience.

Thanks for replying. I write a review just because I made a promise on reviewing it.

I have a "8000mW" green laser pen from ebay which is crap. It have a bad and weak beam. It is now the toy for my cat.

I rather have a laser in different color like 445nm if I am going to get another one.

So let me get this straight, until you've personally bought something from a seller, you're just going to plop down your money and hope for the best?

Good luck with that.

You're in for a lot of hurt in life. Reputation is a "thing" (not talking about forum rep), and it's a good idea to at least give consideration to the warnings and experiences of people who have gone before you. People aren't giving warnings just to be mean to Lazerer; they've witnessed Lazerer go from a reputable seller to a low-quality seller with poor quality products/delivery and poor communications. The warnings are to protect other forum members.

This time you didn't have much invested in your purchase; even if Lazerer screwed you out of your money it wouldn't have been much loss. Even so, given your limited budget, I'm surprised you were willing to risk your money given all the warnings. Your next purchase may not go so well.

LaserShadow you are weird i understand u bought from them u defend them in a way but still, everything i heard about lazerer after i joined has been nothing but bad they are a shitty company keeps a low profile i wouldnt call that a company that cares for their customers. When you read more negative then positive about a company that should give you a clear image of how they are, thats how i learned NOT to buy from them after i came here i realized i would give money to a company that wont either deliver my laser or maybe lets say after i get i have a problem with it, it would be hell to try get the laser sent back and get my money back so i chose something else then them and their lasers arent anything special either, u can find the hosts they use anywhere like ebay aliexpress etc. They used to be good from what i hear but then something happend and Max who even was a member here stopped post and be active so who knows there are far more laser shops and way better then them anyways.

People that are serious into lasers avoids them like the plague, but since you get the laser and feel happy thats ok in the end.

I have seen many many many people not happy with what they have gotten.

All that I have heard is "they are crap" etc.

I will stick to laserbtb, sci fi and homemade from parts that reliable people on LPF sell.
