Due to recent surgery to my left eye due to retinal detachment (not laser related, although they used a laser along with other techniques to fix it!), some Survival Laser orders may be delayed beyond our normal processing time. Please allow up to 1-2 weeks for shipping, although we will try to ship many orders within our normal 2 business days.

Your patience and understanding is appreciated!

Wow ! Sorry to hear that Garoq. Hope you heal up fast and make a full recovery. That has to be some spooky stuff, all of a sudden not being able to see. It's happened to a couple of my friends, if it makes you feel any better they both made full recoveries and have normal vision. Here is hoping you do to  Good thoughts going your way !

Totally understand. Get well soon!

Recovering from some surgery (minor but painful) myself at the moment.

Yuck. I've been almost there. I've had PRP to prevent the detachment and I have had a Vitrectomy in one eye to get rid of the blood. Nothing like being awake and have them pull all the "jelly" out of your eye with a needle. :(

By any chance you aren't a diabetic are you?

Yeah, no fun. :( I was completely out, thankfully.

Not diabetic, just part of the "aging process" with high myopia and lattice degeneration (thinning of the retina). So they gave both eyes additional laser treatment to prevent further detachments from any future PVD.

Wishing you speedy recovery. Was also wondering if you managed to give the surgeon any tips on using a laser? Some extra sales maybe!?

It's okay, everyone will understand the delay if something is health related. Health is the 1st priority!
