All depends which country you're from. In the UK it's not a problem
MMM U.K customs can be a right Royal pain
For instance I purchased a couple of Things I couldn't find here in the U.K.
They cost was less than 20 us dollars.
Even so the item was marked as a gift And listed at 20 dollar value.
The problem was that customs decided to charge me value added tax to my dismay which is 20 percent here.(Usually a gift under 35.00 is no customs charge).
If the customs charge you then your parcel gets held at the Post Office or couriers until you pay THEIR administration and the tax.
My customs charge in this instance was 4 dollars and15 dollars admin.
On top of that I have to go and collect the item that is in effect being held to ransom, costing me fuel and time AND a parking charge.
I could contest the customs charge because it was a gift but I couldn't claim the ADMIN. not worth the aggro.
I have also been charged Customs on a warranty returned part that I already owned ...most annoying indeed. Value added tax in the uk was introduced to pay for world war two and was meant to be rescinded afterwards haha what happened to that then?
Odicforce is great but a bigger range of spares would be nice .
Stuff from Europe elsewhere tends to be very high
prices.
