One of the red diodes in my Laser-Wave 300mW 640nm module died a while ago, only just noticed recently

So purchased a new diode, installed it, and couldn't resist watching a few lasershows after so long, and managed to get a pretty cool pic after adjusting the projectors white balance a bit

How can you enjoy a lasershow with safety goggles on? It looks like I'm being hit in the face with the laser, but that's just because it's being bounced off a mirror, my room is too small

Makes me want to buy a RGB scanner... not quite pushed off that edge yet

That'll most definitely stop a high powered laser.

Although these days you could build something similar for around $1K, including a FB3 DAC.
