yh, i didnt want my first laser from lazerer to be too expensive, becuase if there was a problem or lazerer wasnt a good company i would have wasted a lot of money for nothing. this first laser is just to test the service of lazerer.

uhh no, i dont think it was available with the laser i bought:
LZCS - 532nm 100mW Focusable Green Laser Pointer

Well, lasers aren't illegal to import to uk so there's no problem there even if it says flashlight - For all you know the chinese call lasers flashlights, not your problem is it?

Value wise, I don't think you'd even have to pay import duty or vat if the true value was stated - it's not high enough.

ROYAL MAIL - thats who you wanna worry about. Once they get hold of it, god help you!!.......lol....j/k :D

hmm, just a totally unrelated question. but i wanna purchase some goggles cuase i just realized how rubbish life would be if i was blind, but i dont have much of a budget cuase i spent all my money on the 100mw and am spending most of it on 2lasers from a forum member. so i only have about $20 left. the wavelenghts i am looking to protect from are green and red, 532nm and 650nm i think. so anyone know any good goggles that will protect my eyes for a good price? i know you cant put a price on your eyes but i only have $20 and having something is better than nothing right.
and also, is the higher the OD the better the goggle? so a 2 OD would be worse then a 5-6 OD? becuase i want to reduce my 100mw green to about 1mw, and my red 100 to about the same, so what OD would i need?

The Dragon Lasers goggles would be my choice from that list, but ONLY for the green laser. They will offer no protection against 'Red' and you will need another pair of goggles for that one ( T-REX from Lazerer maybe? (or better))

hm, i bought lazerer goggles when i bought my 100mw, but if you wanna use a 1W then you need to use goggles, you'l get blind in like 1-2 seconds if it hits your eye.

Definately. Go for which ever ones give the highest level OD+ that you can afford.

You could escape with no damage whatsoever apart from temporary flash blindness, such as you would experience from a camera flash.
Then again, a 'direct hit' could cause instant irrepairable damage or unforeseen future damage.
Totally blind is unlikely from a quick flash from 100mW (i.m.h.o), but it IS possible, you must always bear that in mind.

Play safe, and NEVER forget about others around you who could also 'be damaged' ;-)
